What a moment for Jason Kelce, who has all the pressure of his family and his loyal Philadelphia Eagles fans on his shoulders in this Super Bowl.
The former NFL player already knows who he will be rooting for when the Eagles take on the Chiefs on February 9, but his decision will surprise more than a few.
On his podcast, New Heights with Travis Kelce, Jason revealed that he will be supporting ……. legendary singer Cher at the Super Bowl instead of his former team or his brother’s team, the Kansas City Chiefs.

Every time someone asks me who I’m rooting for, I say I’m rooting for Cher,” the former Philadelphia Eagle joked.
He also made no secret of his love for Cher’s “Believe,” claiming it is his favorite song by the artist.
We’re not surprised because that’s Jason‘s great sense of humor, but don’t worry, later in the same episode he explained a little bit about the feeling he has between these two teams that will be competing in Super Bowl LIX.
A divided heart
Jason left the jokes behind for a while and answered honestly what is going on in his head about this great game that awaits us in New Orleans:
“This is reality. No matter what happens on game day, I’m going to be happy for one of these teams and sad for the other. And it’s similar to the last time we played. I mean, maybe a little less intense because I’m not playing now, but I think it’s going to be very, very similar. I really think so,” he said in his podcast.
Jason will be rooting for both teams, the Eagles and the Chiefs, in what promises to be the best game of the entire NFL season, and it will be a top-notch spectacle.
Even though he supports both teams, Jason can’t afford to wear a Chiefs jersey on game day:
“I don’t even think she’ll be wearing red this time,” he said, adding that his wife Kylie won’t be wearing anything from Kansas City either, as the love and respect they have for Philadelphia trumps almost everything.
