Jason Kelce grabs a beer in the most unexpected San Francisco spots

There are bucket lists designed to travel the world, discover the best coffee spots, or chase unforgettable sunsets. Jason Kelce’s was different. He didn’t look for luxury or elaborate plans: he chose cities, iconic places, and one simple, very clear mission… to drink a beer at every stop.

Beer route

The former Philadelphia Eagles player shared a video on X showing him moving through San Francisco with that straightforward and honest goal. No rush and with a sense of humor, Kelce checked off spots from his personal list while enjoying a beer, like someone who decided to travel with no pressure beyond having a good time.

One of the most talked-about moments happened at the Golden Gate Bridge. Jason appeared relaxed and asked a question that sounded more like bar chatter than a tourist guide: “If it’s not golden, why is it called the Golden Gate?” He then explains that the name comes from the Golden Strait, an old commercial gateway to the Pacific, making it clear that his route also left room for curiosity.

The beer-filled bucket list continued at the Painted Ladies in Alamo Square. He later walked through Chinatown, passed by Lombard Street, and kept adding iconic points around the city, always with a beer as his constant companion.

Beyond the places, what really connected was the natural feel of it all. Jason Kelce wasn’t there to show off or create a character. He was simply following a plan and enjoying the cities without overthinking it.

In the end, his video left one clear idea: not every bucket list is about big challenges. Some are just about a good beer, an interesting place, and the freedom to enjoy the moment.
