Jason Kelce and wife Kylie are never ones to hide details about their romance, and that was exactly the case during a recent episode of the Not Gonna Lie podcast.
The couple are parents to three children and are awaiting baby number four, showing that their relationship continues to grow with each passing year.
However, one can say that the early stages of their relationship was anything but smooth or conventional. Kylie previously revealed that their first date was disastrous, as Jason even fell asleep at the table midway through.
It looks as though that awkwardness carried over into the second date, as Jason revealed in the latest episode of her podcast.
“We went ice skating at Penn’s Landing,” Jason stated.
“Where I farted tying my skates. I bent down and I couldn’t even play it off because it was so audible there was no way to get out of it.”
Kylie laughed at the story while revealing what her initial reaction was, as Jason interjected by stating, “Whoops”, before adding: “That’s true love people.”
Relationship continued despite rocky start
From there Kylie explained that she and Jason then called an outing to a bar their actual first date given he fell asleep during their first interaction.
Kylie noted that she thought it was over between the two given Jason told her he was travelling to Thailand for 14 days the morning after.
“And I specifically remember thinking, ‘This is the most elaborate way to get out of having to talk to me ever again,'” she joked. “And then you sent me a picture of a monkey on the beach while you were there.”
Nevertheless, their love continued to bloom from there as Kylie added the message she sent to Jason that got her a date in the first place.
“I said, ‘I need LifeAlert, I’ve fallen for you and I can’t get up,'” Kylie revealed on February 12. “That one didn’t land very well.
“So then I went back with, this is so bad,” she continued. “‘If I told you I worked for UPS, would you let me handle your package?'”
“And he said, ‘Yes.'”
