When the Denver Broncos host the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game this weekend, all eyes aren’t just on the field.
Jarrett Stidham‘s wife, Kennedy Stidham, turned up in a statement look away from the gridiron that caught social media attention just as much as the game itself.
With her husband stepping into the biggest moment of his NFL career, Kennedy marked the occasion with a striking fashion post on Instagram.
Kennedy shared a selfie from Empower Field hours before kickoff – a look that quickly ignited buzz among Broncos fans and sports fashion circles alike.
She documented her ensemble, an all white outfit that included a plush fur coat over a turtleneck and slim fit pants, contrasted with black leather gloves and knee high boots.
Support for Jarrett
A football shaped bag featuring the Broncos logo completed her gameday look as she wrote: “Let’s go!!!!!!” in the caption.
Her Instagram activity this weekend has been more extensive than usual. Earlier in the week, after Denver‘s dramatic divisional round win over the Buffalo Bills, Kennedy shared multiple moments from that game, including a tender photo of her kissing Jarrett on the field.
“One more time at Mile High,” she wrote alongside those snapshots.
The emotional weight of this weekend’s game ran deep for the Stidhams. Jarrett took over from Bo Nix as the Broncos‘ starter after their star passer Bo Nix suffered a season-ending broken ankle in that win over the Bills.
Kennedy addressed the upheaval in a heartfelt post after Nix’s injury, hinting at the mixed feelings of pride and uncertainty swirling around the team.
“Absolute whirlwind of emotions after the game last night, ultimately so proud of these boys & what they have accomplished this season so far… do it for 10,” she wrote.
A devastating defeat
Unfortunately, the 29-year-old was unable to guide the Broncos to victory in a game dominated by a snow storm, with the New England Patriots winning 10-7 to secure their place in the Super Bowl.
Broncos head coach Sean Payton had publicly backed his veteran signal caller, insisting that Stidham was more than ready for this sudden spotlight.
He delivered where possible, completing 17 of 31 passes and throwing for 155 yards.
After that solid performance, it’s possible the Stidhams may be seen more about the NFL than usual.
