Ja’Marr Chase makes a promise to Cincinnati Bengals Coach at Training Camp

Ja’Marr Chase is poised to become one of the natural leaders of the Cincinnati Bengals this season. As the primary offensive weapon and top target for quarterback Joe Burrow, Chase is expected to play a key role in leading the team to major victories. Recently, however, he made headlines for a different reason, for achieving a milestone with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Ja’Marr Chase had a lively exchange with his wide receivers coach during the Cincinnati Bengals’ training camp at the Kettering Health Practice Fields. The moment highlighted the energy within the team as they gear up for a pivotal season, aiming to return to the playoffs after missing out in the past two years.

The Cincinnati Bengals shared a video on their social media titled “1-800-CALL-CHAD,” in which the team gathered to watch a heartfelt message from former Bengals star Chad Johnson. In the clip, Johnson delivered a special shoutout to Ja’Marr Chase, praising his achievements and welcoming him into the elite group of earing the 99 overall rating int eh EA sport game, Madden 26′.

After the video, everyone in the room applauded Chase, recognizing the moment as a tribute to his outstanding performances with the Cincinnati franchise. Then, Bengals wide receivers coach Troy Walters presented Ja’Marr Chase with a special ’99’ pendant to celebrate his induction into the prestigious Madden 99 Club.

In that moment, Chase told his coach he would wear the jewelry during a game, proudly embracing the honor and showing how much the recognition meant to him. His spontaneous promise reflected not only his pride, but also his commitment to upholding the elite standard of the Madden 99 Club and serving as a role model for his team.

Ja’Marr Chase reaches prestigious milestone

The star wide receiver of the Cincinnati Bengals has been part of the NFL elite since his debut. Since joining the Bengals, Ja’Marr Chase has consistently showcased his talent, earning four Pro Bowl selections in just four seasons. Thanks to his outstanding performances on the field, Chase has now been granted a special recognition that cements his place among the league’s top players.

Chase has become the first player in Cincinnati Bengals history to earn a 99 overall rating in Madden 26, a milestone that highlights his dominance on the field. This prestigious rating places him among the most elite players in the league and further confirms his status as one of the best wide receivers in the NFL today.

This rating comes on the heels of an outstanding season in which Ja’Marr Chase posted 127 receptions, 1,708 receiving yards, and 17 touchdowns, truly elite numbers by any standard. His dominance and consistency on the field made it clear to the Madden developers that he belonged in the exclusive 99 Club, reserved only for the very best in the league.
