Jalen Hurts addresses frustration reports in Eagles locker room: “I take rsponsibility”

The Philadelphia Eagles have won most of their games this NFL season, boasting an 8-2 record after only losing to the Broncos and Giants. However, victories don’t seem to satisfy some players on the team, for whom other factors are more important than winning itself. This was communicated by Jalen Hurts, the team’s star quarterback and leader.

Nick Sirianni’s team’s next matchup is against the Dallas Cowboys, whom they will visit at AT&T Stadium for Week 12 of the NFL season. The Eagles already faced the Cowboys in the season opener, a game the reigning Super Bowl champions won 24-20. Dak Prescott and the rest of the Cowboys will be looking for revenge at home, in front of their fans.

Saquon Barkley and A.J. Brown frustrated with Eagles offense, and Jalen Hurts responds

As the Eagles’ offense continues to underperform, frustration has been growing within the team. Wide receiver A.J. Brown is frustrated with the offense’s lackluster performance, and Saquon Barkley is frustrated with the lack of success in the running game. Several players are reportedly frustrated with Hurts’ approach this year against zone coverage and his reluctance to throw in tight or deep windows.

I’m just going to work every day. Go to work every day and keep trying to do my best

Hurts initially responded to those reports on Wednesday, saying, “I’m just going to work every day. Go to work every day and keep trying to do my best,” he said. He continued, “I take a lot of responsibility when things are going well-I guess I get a lot of attention when things are going well and when they’re not going so well. I never shy away from taking responsibility, and I think that’s exactly what I’ve embraced.”

Lane Johnson will miss the game against the Cowboys

Philadelphia Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson suffered a Lisfranc injury during Sunday night’s 16-9 victory over the Detroit Lions, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Monday. It is not expected to be a season-ending injury, but he could be placed on injured reserve and will miss the game against the Dallas Cowboys, sources told Schefter.

Johnson left the game in the first quarter after a Saquon Barkley run on third down and a few yards to go was stopped. Johnson walked slowly toward the stadium after a brief visit to the medical tent. He was replaced in the lineup by Fred Johnson. The team did not provide any further information after the game.
