Jake Paul’s business partner clears up controversial reply to Jutta Leerdam Winter Olympics post

Jake Paul is no stranger to headlines, whether they stem from his exploits in the boxing ring or controversy outside of it. Over the past several days, ‘The Problem Child’ has once again found himself in the spotlight at the Winter Olympics.

From facing backlash over alleged anti-Puerto Rican remarks tied to the Super Bowl LX halftime show to celebrating his fiancĂ©e Jutta Leerdam‘s triumph at the Winter Olympics, Paul‘s name has been trending for multiple reasons.

The latest controversy, however, appears to have been built on misinformation. After Leerdam captured Olympic gold in the women’s 1000m speed skating event, Paul publicly celebrated her achievement.

The Dutch speed skating star, who has long been one of the top competitors in her discipline, reached the pinnacle of her sport with the victory.

But amid the congratulations and emotional reactions, social media users circulated what they claimed was a reply from Paul suggesting that Leerdam should add an American flag to her caption.

Given that Leerdam represents the Netherlands internationally, the alleged comment quickly drew criticism and mockery online.

Jake Paul post ‘fabricated’

However, according to Nakisa Bidarian, the CEO of Most Valuable Promotions and one of Paul‘s closest business partners, the entire exchange was fabricated.

“This is a fabricated post,” wrote the CEO of Most Valuable Promotions, Nakisa Bidarian, on X. “Jutta Leerdam does not have an X account (the account that’s on X is not her) and Jake Paul never made such a post.”

Paul reposted the statement, signaling his agreement and attempting to shut down the speculation. The clarification underscored how quickly misinformation can spread, particularly when attached to a polarizing public figure.

He was seen in the crowd in Milan-Cortina openly weeping with joy after witnessing Leerdam win gold, a video that the Dutch athlete later described as “so cute”.

Some observers have suggested the confusion may have been fueled by recent backlash involving Paul and global music star Bad Bunny.

During Super Bowl LX festivities, Paul referred to the rapper as a “Fake American,” a remark that some interpreted as a slight toward Puerto Rican citizens.

Paul later clarified his intent, but the incident only increased scrutiny around his public statements.

Will Jake Paul go back to boxing?

Criticism is nothing new for the YouTuber-turned-boxer. Since transitioning to professional boxing, Paul has faced persistent skepticism about his matchmaking, particularly for bouts against former MMA fighters and aging boxers.

Nevertheless, he has gradually stepped into more challenging contests. One notable example was his recent fight against Anthony Joshua. Unlike several of his previous matchups, that bout ended in a decisive and brutal knockout loss for Paul. T

he defeat prompted speculation about his future in the sport, with some questioning whether he might consider retirement.

According to Bidarian, however, stepping away is not under consideration:”He’s focused on coming back in August,” said Bidarian during an interview with Fight Hub TV. “I think the realistic window is anywhere from August to November.”

For now, Paul appears intent on both rehabilitating his boxing career and dispelling false online stories about him.
