Jake Paul to sue those accusing him of fixing the fight against Anthony Joshua

Jake Paul has more to deal with than just a broken jaw. Despite the beating he took from Anthony Joshua, the Problem Child is facing accusations that the fight was fixed. However, Paul isn’t going to take it lying down and has already threatened to sue those spreading these rumors.

The fight between Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua was one of the most anticipated boxing events of the year. Paul’s fans wanted to see him take another step forward in his boxing career, while his detractors hoped Joshua would put a definitive end to his career.

The bout took place on Friday, November 19, at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida. Netflix handled the live stream, which was a huge success with viewers.

In the end, AJ emerged victorious with a knockout in the sixth round. Paul ended up with a fractured jaw, but even that didn’t convince his critics. Now, the YouTuber-turned-boxer is taking legal action.

MVP will sue anyone who accuses Paul of fraud

In a recent interview on The Ariel Helwani Show, Paul’s partner at Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), Nakisa Bidarian, definitively put an end to the accusations that the fight was “scripted.”

“Our lawyers are actively going after a number of people,” Bidarian warned, citing as an example the case of a social media user who claimed there was a secret agreement between Joshua and Paul.

“Basically, this post said there was an agreement for AJ not to knock out Jake,” Bidarian explained. “But AJ disregarded the agreement and decided to mitigate his payday but knock out Jake Paul.”

Bidarian also highlighted one of promoter Joe DiBella’s posts. “I saw him put up a bunch of ridiculous things, and even said, ‘Nakisa, go ahead and sue me, but this wasn’t a real fight.'”

DiBella is sure AJ should have won earlier

The veteran boxing promoter is one of those convinced that Joshua should have won in fewer than the six rounds it took to knock out the “Problem Child.”

“Nothing legit about this, Nakisa,” DiBella asserted. “Even if everything’s ‘legal,’ go ahead and sue me. No, this isn’t good for boxing, sports, or entertainment,” the promoter declared.

In response, Bidarian said, “There’s never once in Jake Paul’s career been any talk of that sort of thing.” However, he also didn’t clarify whether he will sue DiBella.
