Jake Paul‘s boxing career is currently in limbo. As he continues to be bombarded with criticism from his “fight” against a 58-year-old Mike Tyson, Paul has also taken plenty of time to light into Canelo Alvarez for “ducking” him. He also teased a bout against his own brother, Logan Paul, which ended up being promotion for an upcoming reality show.

Paul has done nothing to win over skeptics about his boxing ability and overall personality. If anything, he has gone full heel. Who can really blame him, though, when considering his background has always been as a social media entertainer. That’s been evidenced recently, especially with his performance with a Mariachi band while calling out Alvarez. On Monday, he once again got people talking, as he did a blindfolded “boxing drill” with a can of Celsius as part of a promotion.

Paul has been promoting his own body care brand, W, recently as well. As he awaits his next big fight, he’s trying to generate as much additional revenue as possible. Of course, that’s needed after he bought himself a private jet just a couple of weeks ago.

Jake Paul continues to deal with tons of criticism after Mike Tyson fight

If Paul cares about his public image in the boxing world, he will choose a more serious and younger fighter for his next event. We’ll see if he takes any of that advice to heart.
