Jake Paul announces massive knockout bonus ahead of Gervonta Davis fight

The boxing world just got another curveball from Jake Paul. Days after confirming his November 14 exhibition against WBA lightweight champion Gervonta “Tank” Davis, Paul revealed that a “large knockout bonus” will go to whoever ends the fight with a finish. The revelation came during his appearance on the DOUBL3 COVERAGE podcast, where Paul casually dropped the bombshell: “If someone knocks the other one out, they’re gonna get a big, big bonus.”

The fight itself has already stirred controversy for its size difference. Paul, who’s expected to weigh in around 195 lbs, will meet Davis, a natural 135-pounder, in a matchup that’s officially listed as an exhibition bout. Both will wear 12-ounce gloves, and despite initial plans to host it at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, the event was moved to Miami’s Kaseya Center, according to CBS Sports.

Paul’s stock as a prizefighter keeps rising. He’s currently on a six-fight win streak, including a decisive victory over former world champion Julio César Chávez Jr., and his fights regularly outperform established boxers in pay-per-view revenue and social reach.

A Knockout Bonus That Changes Everything

Adding a knockout clause could transform how this fight unfolds. Instead of the usual exhibition pace, both men have a new reason to chase a finish. For Paul, the incentive doubles as entertainment fuel, ensuring a highlight-reel moment for fans tuning in on Netflix. For Davis, it’s a chance to prove that his precision and speed can level the playing field against a much larger opponent.

Neither side disclosed how big the bonus actually is, but TMZ Sports reported it could rival six figures. That would make it one of the largest knockout incentives in recent exhibition history.

With the bout’s weight gap, media spectacle, and new KO prize, Jake Paul vs Gervonta Davis now feels less like a sparring showcase and more like a viral collision waiting to happen. Whether it ends with a knockout or a controversy, Paul has once again ensured everyone will be watching.
