Jake Paul has fully committed to partner Jutta Leerdam by asking the Dutch speed skater to marry him, and the finances involved in the proposal are eye-watering.
Various images have emerged online of the moment that Paul got down on one knee, with both of them dressed in white, and presented Jutta with an engagement ring that is supposedly worth $1 million.
The pair have been together since early 2023 and Jake posted some images of the pair dressed in white outfits with a scenic backdrop, seemingly both in tears as Jutta said yes to the proposal.
Having only posted images before, Jake has now shared some video for his fans of the moment that it happened and he wrote the caption: “The most magical day of our lives, 03-21-25.”
Jewellery experts have examined the ring from the video and believe that it contains ten-carat natural diamonds, which takes the value of the ring above the 1 million dollar mark.
Attention still on boxing
Whilst he will spend some time enjoying engaged life, Jake‘s focus will surely still be on his boxing career and what comes next.
A fight against Anthony Joshua has been rumored, and promoter Eddie Hearn has refused to rule it out just yet.
“To be honest, I look at it and I think Jake Paul against Anthony Joshua-for me, we’d do it for the banter,” he said.
“‘A.J.’ would fight Jake Paul. He’d fight anyone to be honest with you. If Jake Paul wants to step up and fight Anthony Joshua, he’ll need the relevant insurance.
“The only thing that was disappointing was he says 2026. That’s like me saying, ‘LA Olympics for the surfing in 2028, I’ll be there.’
“Do it in 2025 if you really want to do it. You’re not going to get really much better at this stage.
“I don’t know. Those two have spoken, I spoke to AJ this morning, he went, ‘Listen, of course I’d fight him.'”
