The anticipation surrounding Travis Hunter has only grown since the Jacksonville Jaguars managed to select him in the 2025 NFL Draft, following a key trade with the Cleveland Browns for a high draft position. On Saturday, May 10, the Florida team’s fans will be able to see the versatile rookie in action for the first time during the open day of the Rookie Minicamp at the Miller Electric Center (MEC), a state-of-the-art training complex.

Hunter, who has excelled as both a receiver and cornerback during his college career, arrives with star quality and a magnetism that did not go unnoticed by the coaching staff. “When he walks into a room, everything changes. He has a unique energy,” said general manager James Gladstone when recalling his only direct contact with the player during the Combine. Although brief, that moment made clear the potential and maturity that Hunter can bring to the locker room.

When does the Jacksonville Jaguars Rookie Minicamp start?

The rookie minicamp will run from May 9-11, but Saturday, May 10 will be the only day open to the public. Practice will begin at 1:25 p.m. at the Miller Electric Center, the team’s training facility. It will be the first opportunity to see in action the group of newcomers who will be looking to earn a spot on the season’s roster.

The MEC’s structure is prepared to receive up to 2,000 spectators in covered stands, including accessible spaces. Standing or bringing in external chairs or cushions will not be permitted. Entry will be on a first-come, first-served basis, so it is suggested to arrive early.

How to get tickets to see Travis Hunter?

Access is completely free, but tickets must be booked in advance through Ticketmaster. Each account will be able to obtain a maximum of two tickets, and there will be no availability on site for tickets or parking. It is therefore recommended to book as early as possible, as historically they sell out quickly. In addition, the NFL’s clear bag policy will be in effect, so attendees will need to comply with the usual security guidelines. Appropriate dress (shirt and shoes) is also required, and the club has requested that clothing with offensive or inappropriate messages be avoided.

The weather could be a factor to consider, with the forecast indicating a temperature of around 27°C and a 65% chance of rain on Saturday. Despite this, a large turnout is expected to see the team’s new star up close. Sunscreen, sunglasses and hydration are recommended.
