The current two-time MLB champions are preparing for the 2026 season. Some of their players are still competing in the World Baseball Classic, while others have already been eliminated and will be joining team activities with the club in the coming days.

The biggest stars of the Dodgers will continue to be the figures to follow; however, several players have arrived who are already beginning to show during spring training games that they came ready to contribute to the team in a meaningful way.

In many cases, it is often said that players need a period of adaptation to a new team, a new city, and new teammates. Although that does not apply to everyone, some arrive already bringing fire in their bats from the very first moment they step onto the field.

This is the case with Jack Suwinski, who in his debut with the Los Angeles squad unleashed a powerful and ferocious swing that cleared the fence, demonstrating that his power has been revitalized since arriving on the West Coast.

The former Pittsburgh Pirates player wants to leave a strong mark with the back-to-back champions, and that is why he is already making it clear that he intends to show the best version of his performance with the team.

His arrival has generated interest among fans who are eager to see how the outfielder fits into a roster already loaded with talent and championship experience heading into the new campaign.

The tremendous hit by Jack Suwinski with the Dodgers

It was his first appearance at the plate to demonstrate his power with the bat. Suwinski stepped in, waited for the pitch against the Chicago Cubs, and then unleashed a savage swing that sent the ball flying over the fence for 429 feet to produce a memorable and unique home run.

With that four-base shot, the Los Angeles team took a 4-0 lead after the tremendous blast from the left fielder, who had already shown signs of that tremendous power earlier in his career.

The ball left the bat at a speed of 111 mph. The player arrived at the Dodgers’ facilities only last February, and he is expected to take on an important role for the upcoming campaign, which is only a few weeks away from the moment when the call of play ball begins the season.

For the player, this represents a reset in his career following his time with the Pirates, where in 2023, he posted a considerable number of home runs with 26. No one expected his departure from Pittsburgh, but now that he is on the West Coast, there are high expectations for his performance with the team.

This tremendous blast serves as an early declaration of what the player intends to do with his new franchise and his desire to earn a constant presence in the team’s lineup.

The player, who was born in 1998, was drafted in 2016 by the San Diego Padres and made his debut in 2022 with the Pittsburgh Pirates. With that franchise he showed his power by launching several home runs.

Now he hopes to maintain that same level of performance but with Los Angeles, a powerful team that is seeking a third consecutive championship.
