However, midway through the week, alarm bells went off in Dallas, and it all centers on their quarterback, Dak Prescott, a player who has firmly entered the NFL MVP conversation thanks to his outstanding performances.

After a brilliant performance in which he threw four touchdowns and 268 yards, the Cowboys quarterback was limited in Wednesday’s walkthrough due to a minor hip injury. Head coach Briant Schottenheimer said it’s “nothing serious” and chalked it up mostly to giving Prescott some extra rest.
Prescott will have two full-practice opportunities later this week before Sunday’s game.
Against the Raiders, Prescott completed 25 of 33 passes (75.8% completion rate), averaged 8.1 yards per attempt, and threw zero interceptions. That performance pushed his 2025 NFL season totals to 2,587 passing yards, 21 touchdown passes, and a 102.5 passer rating in 10 games, plus 117 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown
