Inter Miami is enjoying a sweet moment after winning its first MLS Cup, but it also faces an immediate challenge: replacing Sergio Busquets.
That’s why in Miami several names are already being considered. Among them is a legend of Atletico Madrid, Koke Ressurreccion, a player who would be to the liking of Lionel Messi despite having been his rival for many years in LaLiga.

At 33 years of age, the Spanish midfielder plays an important role in his team and has a number of major titles to his name, including Spanish leagues and European competitions. His style would fit in with Inter Miami’s philosophy: ball control, reading the game and defensive balance.
Antoine Griezmann in Inter Miami’s sights
If this option does not work out, Messi would also be keen to add another historic Atletico Madrid figure in Antoine Griezmann, an absolute legend of Atletico Madrid and the French national team. He is a player with a more offensive profile, but one who would fit perfectly into Javier Mascherano’s scheme to accompany Messi in attack. In addition, Griezmann has repeatedly stated that he would like to play in MLS, and given his past at Barcelona, where he coincided with the Argentine star, he could have a preference for the Miami team.
