Instagram model Azilia Hadid sparks rumors with fake Super Bowl photos featuring Stefon Diggs

Just when it seemed Stefon Diggs‘ week couldn’t get any worse, the New England Patriots wide receiver found himself back in the headlines for all the wrong reasons.

The Patriots suffered a 29-13 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl, leaving Diggs with plenty to process on the field.

Off it, things looked just as turbulent. Rumors have swirled that Diggs‘ relationship with rapper Cardi B may have ended, adding to the turmoil surrounding the star athlete.

Sources noticed that the two seemed to unfollow each other on Instagram following the game.

Fans quickly picked up on the absence of any posts or shared moments between the couple throughout the day.

Social media speculation suggested that Cardi B may have discovered Diggs‘ interactions with his other children’s mothers during the Super Bowl, though nothing has been officially confirmed.

Even celebrity rapper 50 Cent weighed in, sharing a post on Instagram mocking Diggs‘ recent misfortunes, highlighting both his on-field struggles and alleged personal setbacks.

Fake photos stir controversy

The drama didn’t stop there. Diggs became the center of another viral social media storm thanks to an Instagram model, Azilia Hadid.

On her profile, Hadid shared a photo dump that immediately caught fans’ attention.

One picture appeared to show her with Diggs on the field at Levi’s Stadium, dressed in a curve-hugging skirt and covering her face, creating the impression she had attended the Super Bowl alongside him.

She even shared a short clip of Bad Bunny performing, seemingly cementing the moment. But the story quickly fell apart.

Further images from the same set revealed Hadid posing in the stands, clearly surrounded by San Francisco 49ers logos and banners.

Online detectives give their verdict

Fans and social media sleuths were quick to point out the inconsistency, exposing the post as misleading. The revelation sent the clip and photos spiraling across X, where it was confirmed that the images were AI-generated and entirely fake.

While Diggs was at the center of the post, he was not involved in the creation or promotion of the content.

The incident is the latest example of how athletes’ personal and professional lives collide in the age of social media.

Diggs, who has long been a target for scrutiny online, now has to contend not only with criticism for his on-field performance but also with fake stories and images.

For Diggs, the combination of a tight loss to the Seahawks and speculation about his romantic life will be a testing time for the experienced receiver.

It remains to be seen how it will affect him, or whether he will respond publicly. For now, Patriots fans will be watching closely to see who makes the next move.
