Indiana Fever reacted to Caitlin Clark’s recent post following her successful sports career outside of basketball

Caitlin Clark traded basketball for tennis and participated in the LPGA’s Annika Pro-Am tournament for the second consecutive year.

The event, held at the Pelican Golf Club, also featured two other Indiana Fever stars: Sophie Cunningham and Lexie Hull, who served as caddies. After her participation in the tournament, CC shared a brief summary to which the team reacted.

Fever responds to Clark’s post

On Saturday, the two-time All-Star Game shared a video with her 93.6 million followers on Instagram showing different moments from her participation in the event. “Had a blast running it back for year 2,” Clark wrote in the post’s description.

Fans quickly began leaving words of support for Caitlin in the comments section: “You make golfing look so fun. Now I want to golf,” said one of them. “I love just whatever you do be it basketball or golf or soccer or even dancing,” commented another. “Can’t wait for year 3 already,” wrote a third follower.

Even the official Indiana Fever account left a comment: “An amazing day with golfer CC.”

The former Iowa Hawkeye is an ambassador for Gainbridge, the tournament’s main sponsor, so Clark’s participation not only aligns with her interest in the sport but also with promoting different women’s sports and highlighting female leadership.

Her presence at this event comes after closing out her second season with the Indiana Fever and the WNBA, where injuries limited the 23-year-old star to only 13 games total.

Clark averaged 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 8.8 assists, and 1.6 steals before having to leave the court due to injuries to her quadriceps, ankle, and groin. Fortunately, her coach, Stephanie White, has announced that Clark has shown progress in her recovery and she herself said she felt “100%” during the tournament.

Looking ahead to the 2026 season, the third of her professional career in the league, Caitlin hopes to shine again with the Fever without injuries getting in her way.
