Indiana Fever confirmed that they signed Odyssey Sims to a hardship contract for the remainder of the season after the team exhausted the three 7-day contracts they were allowed to give the player.
She started the 2025 season with the Los Angeles Sparks, but her first contract with Indiana was on August 10, after the team suffered losses such as Aari McDonald and Sydney Colson.
Since then, she has remained with the team and has become a key player, contributing to their offense. The Fever announced the news with a post on their official Instagram account on Sunday morning.
“We have signed Odyssey Sims to a rest of season contract,” the team wrote to announce the news, alongside a photo.
The veteran, who has been active in the league since the 2014 WNBA draft, has scored 43 points in the last two games, in addition to her 9 assists and 9 rebounds.
Furthermore, Sims has averaged 11.2 points, 3.8 assists, and 2.5 rebounds per game throughout her WNBA career.
