Chicago Sky star Angel Reese is expanding her brand away from the WNBA court and stepping up her own fashion empire.
While attending an NBA game to support Orlando Magic center Wendell Carter Jr., she made a statement in a custom Y2K look by Sankara Xasha Ture.
But now, she isn’t just putting outfits in the spotlight, she is putting her money on the line in order to grow to be even more successful.
Despite earning only $74,909 from her WNBA salary in 2025, Reese has already become a business mogul.
That amount represents only a fraction of her actual earnings. During her college career, her NIL valuation peaked at around $1.8 million, fueled by major deals with Reebok and Reese’s Puffs.
Reese has also earned income through modeling, walking for Victoria’s Secret, and appearing as Sports Illustrated swimsuit model.
Her latest move expands her business portfolio, investing in skincare brand Topicals, according to a report from businessofbeauty on Instagram.
The post read: “Skincare brand Topicals announced on Wednesday it has closed a round of funding with participation from the WNBA star Angel Reese and the Nigerian singer Rema, as well as other figures from the entertainment and sports industries.
“Terms of the investment were not disclosed. Since its 2020 launch, Topicals has raised over $20 million.”
Previous interest hinted at investment
Even before her investment, Reese had promoted the brand, showing her keen interest to get involved.
In a Vogue game day beauty routine video from January 2025, she demonstrated her preference for Topicals products: “Gotta keep the eyes nice and fresh. So I use these, the topicals. They say you can put them either way. I use them by the thickest part first.”
Reese‘s public profile allows Topicals to reach a diverse audience, including sports fans and followers of her fashion endeavors.
For Reese, the offseason has become a platform for both personal branding and strategic financial growth.
Whether it’s attending NBA games in high-fashion looks, curating beauty routines, or making high-profile investments, Reese is shaping a business and fashion presence that rivals her on-court excellence.
With her combination of athletic skill, fashion sense, and business acumen, Reese is emerging as a model for the modern WNBA star, proving that off-court ventures can be as impactful as game-day performances.
