The World Baseball Classic has come to an end on a high note, leaving positive feelings for both fans and players alike. Now, a high-caliber star like Juan Soto has declared himself a fan of the competition and even recommends attending to learn from the best.

Juan Soto on his World Baseball Classic experience

The Dominican Republic was eliminated by the United States in the World Baseball Classic, but that didn’t stop Soto from describing the tournament as “one of the best experiences,” he told SNY.

He also mentioned that he recommends attending to be surrounded by great former players who can help improve your game.

“Definitely it helps my game. We had David Ortiz, Pedro Martinez, Albert Pujols, Placido Polanco, Fernando Tatis Sr. – we have guys that played this game for so long and they gave us so much advice,” Soto said.

Even though there are still several areas for improvement in the World Baseball Classic, fans are left with the unforgettable sight of elite players coming together to compete at the highest level for their countries.

The next World Baseball Classic has not yet been officially confirmed, but there are already plenty of compelling storylines to follow after Venezuela‘s stunning victory over the United States-a team that fell short despite boasting one of the strongest rosters in the entire tournament.
