“Despite how I have been treated, I choose to protect his name for the sake of my children,” the model acknowledged on her social media. Bonilla denied that infidelity was the cause of their breakup: “I have never ever been unfaithful to the father of my children.” TMZ reported that Rudy Gobert broke up with his pregnant girlfriend and told her to move out of the house and take their one-year-old son (Romeo) with her just at the start of the NBA playoffs.
The last time Julia Bonilla was seen at a Timberwolves game to cheer on Rudy Gobert was April 13, but it seems that everything changed after Bonilla revealed to Gobert that she was pregnant with their second child.
TMZ reports that Julia Bonilla was hoping to return to her native France after the split, but Rudy Gobert (four-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year) wants her and Romeo to stay in the United States so they can resolve child custody after the Wolves’ season ends, as they have qualified for the Western Conference Final.
