Hansi Flick’s Barcelona Surpasses 300 goals thanks to Rashford and Lewandowski

Hansi Flick’s Barcelona is celebrating. In 107 matches under the German coach, the team has already scored 301 official goals following an exciting LaLiga match against Atlético Madrid (1-2) at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano Stadium.

In this way, Flick has led the team to this impressive milestone, with 174 goals scored during the 2024-2025 season and 126 so far in the 2025-2026 season across all competitions, confirming their immense offensive power.

Flick’s Barça Surpasses 300 Goals

The 300th goal came in the match against Cholo Simeone’s side, scored by Marcus Rashford, while Robert Lewandowski netted the 301st, sealing the team’s comeback and breaking this record.

These goals in less than two seasons represent an average of 2.81 per game, a statistic that reflects the German coach’s attacking approach and one that, as we’ve noted, hadn’t been surpassed since Luis Enrique’s tenure. The Barça coach led his team to 519 goals in 181 matches, averaging 2.86 goals per game. He is followed by Xavi Hernández with a scoring average of 1.96 (280 goals in 143 matches) and Ronald Koeman with 2.1 (141 goals in 67 matches).

LaLiga has been the main driving force with 182 goals in the 68 matches Flick has managed, but the performance has also carried over to other tournaments, such as his 73 goals in 24 Champions League matches, his 31 goals in 11 King’s Cup matches, and his 15 goals in four matches in the Spanish Super Cup.

Additionally, it is worth noting that Barça has failed to score in only four matches: two in his first season, against Real Sociedad (1-0) and Leganés (0-1), both in La Liga; and another two this season, against Atlético Madrid (4-0) in the Copa del Rey and Chelsea (3-0) in the Champions League, according to “Mundo Deportivo.”

Success does not depend on a single player, but on the collective performance of the attack. The top scorers during this period are Lewandowski (59 goals in 88 matches), Raphinha (53 goals in 87 matches), Lamine Yamal (39 goals in 94 matches), Ferran Torres (35 goals in 84 matches), and Dani Olmo (20 goals in 76 matches).

These statistics demonstrate the team’s transformation under Flick, based on a direct, vertical, and highly offensive style of play, which has made Barcelona one of the highest-scoring teams in Europe today.

Meanwhile, Barcelona is preparing to continue its winning streak and face Atlético Madrid again on April 8 at Spotify Camp Nou in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals.
