Hailee Steinfeld playfully teases the rivals of her fiancé, Josh Allen, adding a sauce to the rivalry

Hailee Steinfeld has recently captured the attention of NFL fans, making a name for herself within the American football world. Her engagement to Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has thrust her into the spotlight, and Bills fans are undoubtedly thrilled for their star player and his future wife. The upcoming wedding is sure to be a major event, with fans eagerly anticipating every detail.

Recently found herself in the center of some controversy due to a comment she made about the Bills’ AFC East rivals. While her playful jab about the other teams being easy opponents for Allen and the Bills might hold some truth in the present moment, it overlooked a crucial historical fact. Of the four teams in the AFC East, the Bills are the only franchise that has yet to win a Super Bowl, a point that critics were quick to bring up in response to Steinfeld’s remarks.

While it’s true the Bills haven’t hoisted the Lombardi Trophy, their history isn’t without its moments of near-unprecedented success. The legendary Jim Kelly led the Bills to an incredible four consecutive Super Bowl appearances in the early 1990s, a feat matched by only one other team in NFL history. That iconic Bills team of the ’90s, though ultimately falling short each time, etched its place in football lore with its consistent dominance and high-powered offense.

However, despite those four Super Bowl runs, the Bills remain on a list with the Minnesota Vikings as the only two teams to achieve such a streak without a Super Bowl victory. Since their last Super Bowl appearance in 1994, the Bills haven’t made it back to the big game, leaving a lingering sense of what could have been for a franchise that once seemed poised to conquer the NFL.

Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen are one of those couples that everyone’s rooting for, and it turns out they’ve got a really sweet reason for keeping their relationship relatively private. Since they officially stepped out together as an engaged couple, Hailee’s been opening up a little bit about why they’ve chosen to keep things low-key over the years. And honestly, her explanation is just adorable.

In a recent interview, Hailee shared that keeping their romance out of the constant glare of the public eye actually makes it feel more special. When so much of your life is already out there for everyone to see, she explained, it makes you really appreciate the little things that are just for you and your partner. It’s a way of cherishing their connection and keeping something sacred just between them, which is such a lovely perspective.
