Following the Kansas City Chiefs’ tough 40-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2025 Super Bowl, Gracie Hunt, daughter of Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt, is taking some time to recharge.

On Saturday, the former soccer player and pageant contestant shared photos from a tropical vacation, using the ocean as a metaphor for resilience and moving forward.

Although she didn’t disclose her exact location, Hunt’s caption suggested that the trip was a way to shake off the disappointment and look ahead to the future.

“Sometimes a wave crashes down on you, but you shake it off, paddle back out, and wait for the next one. The ride isn’t over yet,” she wrote.

The post featured a series of photos of Hunt posing in the ocean, wearing a black swimsuit adorned with the Chiefs logo. She smiled as she soaked in the scenic views, embracing a much-needed break before the NFL offseason kicks into gear.

Reflecting on the loss with gratitude

Hunt has spent the past week processing the Chiefs’ Super Bowl defeat, balancing her emotions between disappointment and appreciation. Just two days after the game, she shared another heartfelt post on Instagram, expressing gratitude for the team’s hard-fought season.

“Praise Him when you win. Praise Him when you lose, It wasn’t the result we were hoping for, but I’m so proud of this team’s heart and the incredible season we had,” she wrote.

She went on to thank the Chiefs organization, players, and fans for their unwavering support.

“To every person in the Chiefs organization who goes above and beyond-we love you like family. And to the incredible fans who bleed red with us, you are truly the heartbeat of Chiefs Kingdom. We’ll be back,” she added.

Hunt’s post included family photos with her parents, Clark and Tavia Hunt, along with snapshots from the Super Bowl. Though the loss was disappointing, her words reflected resilience and optimism, mirroring the Chiefs’ own determination to return stronger next season.
