Golden State Warriors started the NBA playoffs in the best way: they won an important victory over Houston Rockets 95-85 at the Toyota Center.

And of course, securing the victory in this instance is something that filled with joy the fans, the team and the coach himself, Steve Kerr. And for him, it was not just another victory, but more than that.

The incredible feats of Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler, and the rest of the team led Kerr to victory number 100 in the postseason. This mark is historic and makes him the seventh coach in NBA history to achieve this number of wins.

X’s official account, formerly Twitter, congratulated the coach: “A HISTORIC milestone for Coach Kerr.”

In the post, fans left their congratulations and good wishes for the coach.

But that’s not all: the NBA also announced that with this victory, Kerr was in sixth place with the most postseason victories along with Larry Brown. Another win in the next game would make Steve undisputed sixth. Will he do it?

The Warriors’ secret formula

The addition of Jimmy Butler on February 5 could be seen as a strategic move that has already begun to pay off. As we mentioned, Steph at 37 years old continues to give us shows of great caliber. And age is not an impediment since Butler, at 35, forms an explosive duo with Curry.

Together they scored 56 points, more than half of the game’s total points. Since his arrival, he and Steph have achieved an unmatched chemistry and quickly adapted to the system proposed by Steve Kerr.

Will the magic of this duo be repeated in the Warriors’ next game?
