The question many are asking is: what happened to the fight between Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul? Eddie Hearn, the Briton’s promoter, explained that “AJ” was only willing to have a professional duel, never an exhibition.
“If we take this fight, it’s a real fight. We’re not going to go in like an exhibition or a YouTube match. AJ will prepare as if he was fighting a world champion,” declared Hearn. Finally, Paul’s refusal to face him in a formal fight closed the door on that option.
