From Saudi Arabia they point out that Cristiano Ronaldo has changed his mind about his future

According to Saudi media, Cristiano Ronaldo has made an unexpected decision by confirming his continuity at Al-Nassr, just when the Saudi club is going through a period of reflection and possible structural changes. Santi Aouna, an expert in transfer matters, reports on social media that an agreement has been reached for him to stay.

Despite rumors about a possible departure fueled by an ambiguous post on his social media, the 40-year-old Portuguese striker has reached an agreement to extend his ties with the club, according to Foot Mercato.

“Cris is now with his national team, with a few days off, he is under contract until June 30, we will continue to work so that all parties hopefully understand each other. Without a doubt, work is being done for him to continue. How strongly the whole country is pushing for him to stay will also be very important for him,” said Fernando Hierro in the press conference the other day.

The team’s top scorer this season, with 35 goals and four assists in 41 games, will continue to lead the sporting project according to local media reports, while the club prepares for an important meeting of its board of directors. The meeting will take place this Sunday at the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD), according to Al-Riyadiyah.

The agenda includes three key points: the continuity or renewal of the partners who make up the board of directors, an in-depth analysis of the performance of the first team and the planning of the budget and calendar for next season. In addition, the club’s overall structure will be assessed, including the future of other sporting sections.

Internal tensions also affect the executive leadership. The name of the current CEO, Majed Al-Jumaan, is divisive: while some defend his continuity because of his recent arrival in the position, others call for his immediate replacement. In this context, Ahmed Al-Buraiki, former CEO during the successful period of Saud Al-Suwailem, and Qusay Al-Fawaz, whose profile is also being evaluated, have emerged as possible replacements.

The continuity of Cristiano therefore takes place, if it finally happens, in a context of institutional uncertainty, but his decision reinforces the club’s commitment to keep its great emblem at the center of the project.
