But that all seemed to change when he met sports content creator Jenna Bandy… or so we thought.
O’Neal met Bandy a few weeks back during the NBA All-Star Weekend, and sparks flew. With true Shaq flair, he turned a signed basketball into an unconventional proposal note: “Would you marry me?” Unsurprisingly, the proposal didn’t exactly lead to wedding bells.

In a video shared on Instagram, Shaq playfully teased, “Are you ready to lose?” Far from being intimidated, Jenna fired back, “Do you think you could play football? Can you run?” Shaq, smiling, admitted, “I can play football… I can’t run.”
The banter didn’t end there. “Anything else,” Shaq promised, “I challenge you in anything.” Though they didn’t settle on a specific event, Big Aristotle later commented on Bandy’s Instagram post, saying, “I’m coming for you. Three pointers, truck shots-whatever you pick, get ready to lose.”
