Miami Freedom Park. That’s the name of Inter Miami’s new stadium, which is being built at a great pace, as MARCA was able to see in a guided tour of the venue.
If confirmed, it will be the new home of Leo Messi, the stadium where Inter Miami hopes to have Lionel Messi playing in 2026, if, as expected, Leo soon renews his current contract.
Sources from the club told MARCA that “Leo has a current contract and his link with Inter does not end until the end of 2025. The reality is that both parties intend a continuity and are working with the necessary willingness to achieve this”. This same version has been confirmed by the player’s entourage to this newspaper. However, as of today, there is no agreement or anything signed. Conversations are ongoing but no agreement has yet been reached.
When it arrives, Freedom Park will be its new home. The stadium is expected to open for the new 2026 MLS season, around February-March. It will have a capacity of 25,000 spectators, most of them covered, and a very powerful commercial area will be created, as we could see in the model that we attach to this information
Inter Miami’s new home is surrounded by a large park, and is located very close to Miami International Airport. The pitchside box area will be very exclusive and will give the club a new commercial dimension.
