Francisco Lindor’s latest move as he prepares to welcome new teammates to the Mets

Much is said about the fact that the Mets’ roster for next season revolves around Juan Soto. He is an important player, no doubt, but he is not the only star. There is also Francisco Lindor, a fan favorite and an experienced player who will take on a key role in the locker room thanks to his leadership.

In 2025, he recorded a .267 batting average, .346 on-base percentage, .811 OPS, 31 home runs, 31 stolen bases and 86 RBIs in 160 appearances. He achieved these numbers with a quality that makes him different from many MLB hitters: he is ambidextrous. He knows how to hit with both arms

Lindor earned the fifth All-Star selection of his career and finished 10th in the National League MVP voting, reaffirming his place among the most dynamic players in Major League Baseball today.

His figure and image not only carry weight on the diamond, they also transcend off the diamond as an advertising magnet for some brands. Lindor’s impact both inside and outside the Mets is of paramount importance to the team heading into the 2026 season.

Francisco Lindor and the partnership with New Balance

The batter partnered with New Balance in 2016. In 2026, he will celebrate a decade as a prominent ambassador for the brand, frequently unveiling new shoes for the company.

He recently unveiled the new model, The New Balance Lindor V3. As part of the new product launch campaign, the baseball player attended the Australian Open to support tennis player Coco Gauff.

The baseball player gifted his newly released footwear, officially unveiling his latest exclusive cleat, which includes a lifestyle version for off-field use with New Balance. This model will go on sale on February 23.

Francisco Lindor’s outstanding debt to the Mets

He has built an outstanding track record over 11 MLB seasons. Lindor has won four Silver Slugger awards, two Gold Gloves and a Platinum Glove, regularly establishing himself as the best player at his position, both in the batter’s box and in the middle of the infield.

The only thing left for Lindor is to bring a World Series title to New York. The Mets have the offensive power to compete, although lingering doubts about the pitching staff will determine whether this roster can make the leap in 2026.
