Former Yankees star celebrates Vladimir Guerrero Jr. reaching World Series

It is public knowledge that Vladimir Guerrero Jr. does not like the New York Yankees, even that he would never play with them and that despite the fact that it is the winningest team in MLB history with 27 World Series championships, which they have not won since 2009.

But the younger Guerrero has not only stayed in words but also with hits, especially home runs at Yankee Stadium, the home of the New York Yankees, which is popularly said to have been built by Babe Ruth, where Vlady Jr. and the Toronto Blue Jays eliminated them in game four of the American League Division Series.

The legacy of Vladimir Guerrero

CC Sabathia, a New York Yankees legend and MLB Hall of Famer, celebrated the fact that Vladimir Guerrero Jr. reached the World Series despite his well-known feelings toward the Bronx Bombers and the fact that he eliminated them in the American League Division Series.

Sabathia posted on his official account on the social network X (formerly Twitter) responding to a post from Major League Baseball (MLB): “That’s legacy @VladGuerrero27.”

This is not CC Sabathia’s first ‘betrayal’ of the Yankees

Last week, CC Sabathia spoke about Shohei Ohtani’s three home runs and 10 strikeouts in Game 4 of the National League Championship Series, which the Los Angeles Dodgers won 5-1 over the Milwaukee Brewers to qualify for the World Series for the second straight season, something that had not happened in Major League Baseball since the Kansas City Royals in the 2024 and 2015 campaigns. The left-hander put the Japanese two-way phenomenon as the true goat of MLB, which was interpreted to be above Aaron Judge, the Yankees’ captain.
