Tershawn Wharton played in the NFL for six seasons. In 2020, he entered the league as an undrafted player and earned a spot with Andy Reid’s Kansas City Chiefs by making it through all roster cuts and becoming part of the official 53-man roster.

He later developed into an important contributor for Reid’s team, with whom he had the opportunity to win two Super Bowls. His best season came in 2024, when he recorded 29 total tackles and 6.5 sacks.

In 2025, Wharton left Kansas City to join the Carolina Panthers after signing a three-year, $45 million contract.

That’s terrible, Tershawn. We’re praying for you and your family.

Said a follower. While another commented,

Omg. Prayers to him and his family. That’s awful.

Sharing with this level of vulnerability so that you can help others when you’re hurting the most is some hero-level stuff.
