Adam “Pacman” Jones, a former NFL cornerback known for his talent as much as his troubled off-field antics, was arrested early Saturday morning after attending the highly-anticipated Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight in Arlington, Texas. Jones, who played 13 seasons in the NFL, including stints with the Tennessee Titans, Dallas Cowboys, and Cincinnati Bengals, has long been in the spotlight, but not always for the right reasons.

Jones was arrested just hours after attending the fight at AT&T Stadium, where Tyson and Paul squared off in a highly-publicized match. According to booking records from the Arlington Police Department, Jones was taken into custody outside the Loews Arlington Hotel, located near the stadium, on charges including public intoxication, resisting arrest, evading arrest, and assaulting a police officer.
The arrest occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning, shortly after he had shared an Instagram video of himself enjoying the event with comedian Tom Segura.
Jones back in the spotlight for legal troubles
The former cornerback was released on a $319 bond the same morning, but this is just the latest in a long history of legal troubles. Jones, who’s had multiple run-ins with the law over the years, was arrested ten times since 2000, and has often found himself in the headlines for his off-field behavior.
In December 2022, he pled guilty to disorderly conduct after a meltdown on a plane, which resulted in a 30-day jail sentence that was suspended pending good behavior. His arrest record also includes incidents such as a 2008 altercation at Atlanta’s airport and a 2019 arrest at a casino in Indiana, where he faced charges of disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and resisting arrest.
Jones’ NFL career, which spanned over a decade, included impressive moments-especially during his time with the Cincinnati Bengals, where he was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2015 and made the first-team All-Pro list in 2014. But his off-field behavior, which included suspensions and legal issues, overshadowed his achievements.
