Floyd Mayweather and his bodyguards almost punched a Monaco resident in resurfaced video

Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr. is for many experts and fans one of the best boxers of all time, finishing his professional career undefeated (50-0).

The Michigan native left the sport with nothing to prove, beating powerhouse names like Oscar de la Hoya, Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, Manny Pacquiao, Shane Mosley,Miguel Cotto, Victor Ortiz, among many others.

Mayweather was known for his ability to duck his opponent’s jabs and punches, and even more for knowing how to sell a fight, with multiple great phrases such as “I’ve had boxing gloves since I was able to walk, and I have been into gyms throughout my whole life.”

Mayweather and his bodyguards almost punched a fan

Floyd Mayweather Jr. , who was not a stranger to controversy when he was fighting professionally, was strolling through the streets of luxurious Monaco when a local tourist made a comment that sparked a heated reaction in a resurfaced video that went viral.

As the man heckled the group, Mayweather‘s entourage initially tried to ignore him. But the boxer suddenly turned back, flanked by his massive bodyguards, and he started to walk towards the naysayer, who quickly changed his behavior.

Things got physical fast. The bodyguards chased the man behind a car, and only a quick police intervention stopped it from escalating further. It was a close call for the Monaco resident, who would have no chance of things going righ for him.

Fans are eager to see a rematch Mayweather vs. Pacquiao

Now that Manny ‘Pac-Man’ Pacquiao is officially back, he isn’t ruling out the idea of a rematch with Floyd Mayweather, whom he faced nearly a decade ago in 2015. Ten years later, with both fighters now veterans of the sport, a second clash between them seems more plausible-and perhaps more anticipated than ever.

It’s hard to talk about a fighter who [has] retired,” “[But] if he comes out [of retirement] and signs the contract, then we will fight. Let’s fight again, if he wants, I have no problem with that. I’m active now… I’ll fight them all.

He then reiterated his stance in a televised interview, adding: “We’re gonna discuss it in the next couple of days on what we’re going to do.” Their first bout remains the most commercially successful boxing event in history and, for some, the most significant of the century. The fight generated a staggering $300 million, with $180 million going to Mayweather.
