Fight for Glory: Release date, episodes and where to watch the 2024 World Series documentary between Dodgers and Yankees

Apple TV+ presents an exciting documentary about the historic 2024 World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the New York Yankees. Titled “Fight for Glory: 2024 World Series“, this documentary series promises to take fans behind the scenes, showing them what went on in one of the most epic baseball matchups in MLB history.

Release date and availability

The documentary will be available globally on March 28, 2025, on Apple TV+. It will consist of three episodes covering everything from the teams’ preparations to the highlights of the championship showdown. To access the series, users will need an Apple TV+ subscription ($9.99 per month), although there is also a seven-day free trial option

A look at the rivalry

“Fight for Glory” offers an intimate look at the competition between the Dodgers and Yankees, showing both the action on and off the field. Although the Dodgers took a significant lead by winning the first three games, the Yankees fought hard in the fourth, taking the series to a decisive fifth game. This documentary allows you to experience the tension, effort and emotions that the players went through throughout this historic series.

The team behind the series

The project is headed by Derek Jeter, who as executive producer brings his personal experience of what it means to compete in the World Series. Director R.J. Cutler, known for his work on Elton John: Never Too Late, was in charge of directing. In addition, Ron Howard and Brian Grazer are involved as executive producers, ensuring a high level of production.

Exclusive interviews

The series will feature interviews with key figures such as Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts and Aaron Judge, who share their experiences during the series. It will also explore the emotions of the coaches and the players’ families.

“Fight for Glory: 2024 World Series” is a must-watch production for baseball fans, available from March 28 on Apple TV+.
