The FedEx St. Jude Championship 2025 is once again making headlines as it kicks off the PGA Tour’s Playoffs with fierce competition and high stakes. With the season winding down, this tournament marks a pivotal moment-not only in terms of championship ambitions but also for the enormous financial implications tied to performance.

Held at the iconic TPC Southwind, the event gathers the top 70 players from the season-long FedExCup standings. Stars have all shown up hungry for points, prestige, and yes, a significant payday.

While the focus remains on birdies, clutch putts, and leaderboard drama, there’s been plenty of buzz around the prize money up for grabs. With the PGA Tour upping the ante in recent years, just how much are the top players fighting for in Memphis?

FedEx St. Jude Championship 2025 Purse and payouts

The total purse for the 2025 FedEx St. Jude Championship stands at $20 million, reinforcing its place as one of the Tour’s most lucrative stops. The winner alone will walk away with a jaw-dropping $3.6 million, a figure that rivals the biggest prizes in golf. The rest of the top finishers also see seven-figure payouts, rewarding consistency and performance under pressure.

Payout Breakdown – Top 10 Finishers

  • 1st place: $3.6 million
  • 2nd place: $ 2.16 million
  • 3rd place: $1.36 million
  • 4th place: $960,000.00
  • 5th place: $800,000.00
  • 6th place: $720,000.00
  • 7th place: $670,000.00
  • 8th place: $621,000.00
  • 9th place: $581,000.00
  • 10th place: $541,000.00

The top 70 players will all receive a portion of the purse, with payouts decreasing gradually based on final position. Beyond the money, of course, FedExCup points are also on the line, determining who advances to the BMW Championship and ultimately the Tour Championship.

As the weekend approaches and pressure mounts, fans can expect thrilling action-and perhaps a few surprises. Stay tuned for leaderboard updates, player reactions, and more prize money breakdowns as the FedEx Playoffs heat up.
