Fans suspect Jimmy Butler’s stained pants indicate he couldn’t hold it in Mavericks vs. Warriors

There were plenty of eyes drawn towards the Golden State Warriors and Dallas Mavericks game on Wednesday night as Jimmy Butler continues to settle into his new surroundings.

The 35-year-old was recently acquired from the Miami Heat, with Wednesday’s contest being his third with his new team. In the end it was the Mavs who came out on top, though that wasn’t what everyone was talking about after the game.

While Butler was making a drive to the lane with the Warriors trailing 109-107, fans on social media noticed some unusual coloring on his shorts in the butt area.

When fans magnified the picture, plenty began to ask whether Butler had had a bit of a bathroom accident given the yellow stain.

Nobody on the court seemed to take notice of the coloring, and it didn’t impact Butler’s performance as he finished the game with 21 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.

Fans weigh in

“Jimmy Butler literally s*** his pants,” wrote one fan.

Another wrote: “Did Jimmy Butler poop his pants.”

A third wrote: “Kyrie had jimmy butler s****ing himself all game.”

While the jury is out on what exactly happened, Butler didn’t address the stain after the game. Instead he talked about his frustration at giving the ball away in the closing moments of the game.

“I hate turning the ball over,” Butler said. “I don’t think that’s what I’m supposed to be doing. That’s tough. I gotta be better. Damn sure late game, at that. It is what it is now.”
