A star can shine alone, but together, they light up the sky. Cristiano Ronaldo stole the show in Al-Nassr’s 3-0 victory over Al-Kholood, but he wasn’t the only one.

Soccer fans also highlighted João Félix’s key role in the win, as two of the goals in the match were thanks to his precise assists.

CR7 and Félix: An explosive duo

The first half of the match ended scoreless. In the second half, team captain Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring in the 47th minute, sealing his 961st goal and bringing him closer to his goal of 1,000 goals. The goal came thanks to a perfect assist from Félix, with whom he celebrated the score with Ronaldo’s iconic ‘SIUUU‘, making the moment even more memorable.

Then, in the 53rd minute, Al-Nassr’s second goal came again after an assist from João to Mohamed Simakan. The third came thanks to a penalty from Kingsley Coman (87′).

Félix’s performance not only led the team to another victory, but also earned him the recognition of many fans on X, who highlighted his alliance with CR7:

“João Félix loves Cristiano Ronaldo haha he loves helping him gain goals to get closer to that 1000. Good to see players helping each other and not being selfish especially international teammates,” said one.

“Joao Felix’s move to Al Nassr was very strategic. Make Ronaldo happy and make it to the World Cup,” commented another.

“Ronaldo must be blessed to have Joao Felix playing alongside him! He will get his 39 goals to 1000 in no time,” wrote a third fan.

“Incredible for Joao Felix. He’s really enjoying football with the [goat emoji] Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia,” said one follower.

“Joao Felix would be named in the Ballon d’Or talks after his time with Ronaldo is done. Bookmark this,” predicted another user.

Félix ended the game with two assists and recovered three lost balls in 89 minutes of play before being replaced by Mohammed Maran.

Meanwhile, with this victory, Al Nassr returned to second place and is back in the fight for the Saudi Pro League title with Al Hilal, which is now only three points ahead after a streak of four wins that have narrowed the gap.

Now, Félix, Cristiano, and Al Nassr are preparing to face Al Riyadh on February 2 at Prince Turki bin Abdulaziz Stadium.
