There are appearances that surprise even in places where everything seems planned. Evander Holyfield was one of the most talked-about presences at the Mexican Grand Prix, held at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez. His energy, his smile, and the way he enjoyed every moment made it clear that his passion doesn’t end in the boxing ring.

Over the weekend, he was seen very close to Red Bull Racing and also the RB Formula One Team, showing a special connection with both. Red Bull shared a photo of the encounter with Max Verstappen on their social media, while the moment with the RB Formula One Team appeared on Holyfield’s profile. His closeness to both teams sparked curiosity: could Red Bull or the RB Formula One Team be his favorite team? Could Max Verstappen be his preferred driver?

His bond with Red Bull and RB was what caught the most attention. Holyfield seemed to enjoy the experience with the ease of someone who understands the effort behind every victory, and he was surely one of those who most savored the moment.

Two worlds in one place

Even though Max Verstappen didn’t win the race and finished in third place, Holyfield was there to experience it up close, undoubtedly one of the most engaged spectators of the weekend, likely hoping to see him take the top spot. His presence made it clear that the passion for competition knows no boundaries: boxing and Formula 1 may be different worlds, but both demand the same intensity, precision, and hunger for victory, something Holyfield recognizes and celebrates.

Evander Holyfield didn’t need to speak to stand out. Just seeing him there, among the roar of the cars and the flashing cameras, was enough to understand that greatness can be felt even outside the ring.
