Kylian Mbappé has been in the spotlight lately, but not only for his offensive skills and goals or his knee injury and medical updates, but also for his life off the field and his relationship with Ester Expósito.
The renowned Spanish actress spoke out for the first time about her relationship with the Real Madrid forward and left more questions than answers.
Ester Expósito speaks out about her relationship with Mbappé
The Netflix star decided to unwind with her friends and enjoy a concert from Rosalía’s LUX Tour at the Movistar Arena in Madrid, which she described as “brilliant and spectacular.” However, after the show, the 26-year-old actress was seen in good spirits and was asked about her relationship with the soccer player and his work. And she surprised everyone.
Journalists probed her interest in soccer, and according to a video shared by “Hola,” she replied honestly: “The truth is, not much.” However, when asked specifically about the match at the Bernabéu, she simply replied “good,” though she let slip a telltale smile.
Taking advantage of the direction the conversation was taking, a journalist suggested that “she looked happy” and asked if this was due, in part, to her relationship with Mbappé and that people really liked the couple.
Ester, however, insisted she wouldn’t discuss the matter, but said she was “great” when asked if she was happy with her current life.
Neither the actress nor the soccer player had spoken publicly about their alleged romance, but following this exchange with the press, we could say that this has changed, at least a little.
According to reports, the couple had their first date in February 2026, right after Valentine’s Day, after arriving together in Paris on a private jet and sharing a luxury hotel.
Their whirlwind trip to the French capital sparked curiosity and reactions from fans, which was later fueled by the “Elite” star’s appearance in the Santiago Bernabéu box alongside Sergio Momo and a close friend during the derby against Atlético Madrid on March 22.
Meanwhile, Kylian has recovered from his knee issues and is ready to tackle the final stretch of the season with Real Madrid. After playing with the France national team in March’s friendlies against Brazil and Colombia, his immediate schedule focuses on La Liga and the decisive phase of the Champions League.
Real Madrid’s next match will be against RCD Mallorca in LaLiga Matchday 30, on Saturday, April 4, at Son Moix. Then, they will face Bayern Munich at the Santiago Bernabéu in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals on Tuesday, April 7. Will Expósito be there?
