Endrick, the 19-year-old striker who left Real Madrid to join Ligue 1 side Olympique Lyonnais on loan, regained his smile after a superb performance in his first league match with his new team.
The Brazilian has only needed 161 minutes to become a key player for Lyon, where he has made a difference in the two games he has played so far, making the fans and the board of Real Madrid rethink their decisions about letting him go this season.
Endrick and an incredible performance in his first league match against Stade Brestois
The Brazilian striker on loan from Real Madrid this season had scored on his debut in the Coupe de France, where Lyon claimed victory against Lille (2-1), attracting all the attention for his excellent level and dedication to the ball in his first minutes in France.
After a great cup match, the same or more was expected of him in his first league match, where Endrick did not disappoint any of the club’s fans, signing another impeccable performance, in addition to helping in the two-one victory over Stade Brestois with an assist to his compatriot Abner Vinicius in the second goal.
He was the player who shot the most in the match (four shots, two on target); who completed more dribbles (9/18), who won more duels (13/25) and who created more chances (5), he recorded more interceptions than anyone else and finished as the second ‘OL‘ player with the most successful tackles (2/3).
The 19-year-old Brazilian’s performance on the right flank was so good that he was named ‘Homme du Match’ (MVP) in the victory. At the end of the match, the Brazilian, together with his teammates, celebrated the victory with the fans and the first recognition of the young former Real Madridstriker with the French team.
