Drake Maye or Jarrett Stidham to humiliate Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, and Prescott

There are things in theNFL that can feel truly unbelievable, and that’s exactly what’s unfolding right now in the AFC Championship Game picture. Two quarterbacks-Drake Maye and Jarret Stidham-have a legitimate path to the Super Bowl, while several established stars are already watching from home.

Drake Maye, one of the leading MVP candidates this season, and Jarret Stidham, a longtime backup quarterback, could reach the AFC title game ahead of some of the league’s biggest names.

Humiliating situation or just NFL circumstances?

Jarret Stidham will step in for Bo Nix, who suffered a season-ending ankle fracture-not before helping eliminate Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round. On the other side stands Drake Maye and the New England Patriots, who enter the matchup as clear favorites.

No matter how this unfolds, one stunning fact remains: one of these quarterbacks will play in a Super Bowl before Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Dak Prescott, Justin Herbert, and even the Detroit Lions franchise.

For many, that’s a brutal reality-one that feels humiliating-but the unpredictable nature of the NFL playoffs has created this exact scenario.

The biggest question now is whether either quarterback can not only reach the Super Bowl, but actually win it-an outcome that would be nothing short of extraordinary.

Drake Maye could accomplish the feat in just his second NFL season, during his first playoff run, matching the total number of postseason wins that Dak Prescott has in 10 seasons-an uncomfortable comparison for the Cowboys star.

Everything is on the table. Will Drake Maye lead the New England Patriots back to the Super Bowl? Or will Jarret Stidham deliver one of the biggest playoff surprises in recent memory?

One thing is certain: in the NFL, absolutely anything can happen.
