While anticipation continues to build around the high-profile wedding of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, one key figure in the family dynamic has made her stance clear.

Donna Kelce, mother of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, does not appear eager to take on a hands-on role in planning the much-discussed event.

Spotted at LAX Airport, Donna was approached by a photographer and asked about her involvement in the upcoming nuptials.

Her response was lighthearted but telling, suggesting she intends to take a step back from the process.

“Is the mother of the groom ever involved?!?” she joked, brushing off the idea that she would play a central role in organizing the wedding.

Despite continued probing about whether she might contribute to details such as décor or even her son’s attire, Donna remained noncommittal.

She declined to offer input on specifics, reinforcing the impression that the responsibility will largely fall on Kelce and Swift themselves.

Her reluctance extended even to lighter topics. When asked to name her favorite song by Swift, she avoided singling one out, instead opting for a diplomatic answer by praising all of the singer’s work.

Family spotlight extends beyond the field

The wedding buzz comes amid an already eventful period for the Kelce family.

Travis recently made headlines by confirming his decision to return to the Chiefs for another season, putting to rest speculation that he might retire after his 13th year in the NFL.

The announcement was significant given his decorated résumé as a four-time All-Pro and one of the most productive tight ends of his generation.

However, even that major career decision was briefly overshadowed by other developments involving the family.

Just days earlier, Donna had drawn attention online following reports about renovations to her Florida home. The coverage sparked amusement among fans, who found humor in how prominently the update was featured.

While the home renovation generated lighthearted reactions, a more serious issue soon followed.

Donna sends message after being hacked

Donna revealed via social media that she had been the victim of a hacking incident, prompting concern among her followers.

“I just got hacked. I don’t know how but it happens. Please do not open up a special invitation for me. It’s not me and if you did, change the password on your email,” she wrote in a Facebook post.

The message indicated that unauthorized access may have led to suspicious outreach to her contacts. Though she did not provide further details, the warning was enough to spark a wave of supportive responses from fans.

“Happens to everyone Donna,” one user commented, while another said: “Thank you Donna. Sorry that happened to you!”

“I can’t imagine going through this and a renovation at once. Stay safe queen,” one supporter added.

“Momma Kelce keeping us safe! You’re a gem!” another wrote.

Since the incident, Donna appears to have regained control of her account, though it remains unclear whether any lasting damage occurred.

While fans continue to speculate about every detail, the mother of the groom plans to enjoy the moment from the sidelines rather than the planning table.
