Luka Doncic has surprised with his spectacular physical mutation, a transformation that he has shared with the world in a report for ‘Men’s Health’ magazine.
The Los Angeles Lakers star, whose first goal is the EuroBasket 2025 with Slovenia, explained the methodology of the double 90-minute training sessions he undergoes in Croatia with his personal trainer Anze Macek.
“If I stop now it will have been in vain. It motivated me to be even better. It was now or never.”
After the publication of this commented report Luka Doncic, who is on a promotional tour of the Jordan brand, was seen in New York at the MLB game between the New York Yankees and the Tampa Bay Rays.
Doncic posed alongside Aaron Judge, who gave Luka a jersey with the number 77, and Jazz Chisholm, Jr.
The Lakers player also had time to enter the ‘YES Network’ booth in which they were broadcasting the game, and Michael Kay did not miss the opportunity to ask Doncic about his weight loss and new physique.
“I just think I needed a fresh start after everything that went on,” was the simple explanation from the former Real Madrid player, who last season averaged 28.2 points, 8.2 rebounds and 7.5 assists in the 28 games he played with the Lakers after being traded by the Dallas Mavericks, about his physical change.
In the talk, Doncic joked with Michael Kay that “I played a lot of baseball… on the Wii console”.
