Dillon Danis has not been able to get over Jake Paul. After the war of statements that both held at the end of 2023, Danis has not stopped provoking the influencer-turned-boxer with all kinds of statements. The most recent? A veiled accusation that Jake and his brother Logan use physique-enhancing drugs (PEDs).
Danis is best known for his career as a grappling and submission fighter. However, he has also made attempts in mixed martial arts and boxing. It was in the latter discipline that he faced Logan Paul in 2023 but suffered a disqualification defeat when he took down and tried to choke his opponent.
After the fight, Jake Paul described Danis as “one of the worst fighters I’ve ever seen,” sparking a wild verbal exchange between the two that continues to this day. In the latest chapter of this online rivalry, Danis launched a serious accusation at the younger Paul.
Dillon Danis’ accusations
In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), Danis showed photos of Jake and Logan Paul and musician KSI-whom he will face in a boxing match at the end of March-in which all three appear to suffer from severe baldness problems. The fighter accompanied the photos with the message “Don’t do roids, kids.”
This is not the first time Danis has insinuated that Jake uses steroids. Last August, the fighter shared another photo in which Paul appears to have an acne problem, captioning it “Steroids are bad, kids.” According to medical experts, baldness and acne are among the side effects of steroid use.
There is no legal evidence that the Paul brothers or KSI use steroids. Furthermore, Danis has been seeking a fight with Jake since his disqualification against Logan in October 2023, so all of his attacks on the former YouTuber seem to be focused on baiting him into the desired match.
Danis is not alone
Dillon Danis is not the only one who has accused Jake Paul of using steroids. On the way to the fight between Jake and Mike Tyson, Mike Perry, Paul’s former rival, stated, “To put on 25 pounds, I don’t know how someone does it. I guess with a cheat code.”
In turn, medical expert Stuart Fischer said that Paul’s appearance “is consistent with adult use of steroids. Probably anabolic steroids, but so far it’s all speculation.” And while the world continues to point the finger at Jake, the box office phenomenon is already planning his next move in search of cementing his legacy.
