Did Netflix leak details of Jake Paul’s next fight? He faces biggest bout of his career vs. Gervonta Davis

In a move that shocked both fans and pundits, Jake Paul is confirmed to face undefeated pound-for-pound powerhouse Gervonta “Tank” Davis in a highly unusual exhibition match-airing exclusively on Netflix this November.

Rumors of the pairing first surfaced when Netflix’s Turkish social media account leaked a poster depicting the bout, only to swiftly delete the post.

Within hours, streaming giant Netflix confirmed the fight, slated for November 14 at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena.

The announcement marks a dramatic shift in trajectory: Paul, who had been negotiating a high-profile showdown with heavyweight Anthony Joshua, pivoted after talks unraveled due to Joshua’s exclusive deal with DAZN.

Enter Davis-an elite lightweight whose knockout power and undefeated record (30-0-1 with 28 KOs) make him one of boxing’s most formidable combatants.

A David vs. Goliath rendition

The mismatch in size between the two fighters is staggering. Davis, a natural lightweight, typically weighs around 135 pounds, while Paul has recently competed at nearly 200 pounds.

Despite this disparity, insiders suggest the fight will proceed under exhibition rules-likely employing safety-oriented modifications like catchweights, oversized gloves, or reduced rounds.

Jake Paul, however, embraces the spectacle. In a statement, he cheekily warned, “His nickname might be Tank, but I’m an FPV drone and I’m about to disable tiny boy… First, I am going to kill David, then I will go on to slaughter Goliath.”

While fans may be polarized over its legitimacy, this event doubles as Netflix’s latest slide into combat sports entertainment-and potentially its most ambitious to date.

Davis’ shot at revenge

For Davis, this marks an abrupt detour from the originally planned rematch with Lamont Roach Jr., a fight that was heavily delayed and never materialized.

Meanwhile, Paul arrives with momentum, following a unanimous decision win over Julio César Chávez Jr. and a massive 2024 exhibition victory over Mike Tyson that propelled Netflix’s boxing presence to global prominence.

As the bout edges closer, anticipation continues to swell. Whether viewed as a legitimate sporting contest or a blockbuster entertainment event, Paul vs. Davis promises to dominate conversation as a massive end-of-year spectacle.
