The Super Bowl LX Halftime Show generated massive anticipation from the moment the NFL announced Bad Bunny as its headliner. What no one expected, however, was that the Puerto Rican superstar would host a couple actually getting married on the field.

Accustomed to controversy throughout his career, Bad Bunny embraced the spotlight with confidence and Latin pride. Just a day before the game, he teased fans by promising a “huge party” on the field at Levi’s Stadium.

The Puerto Rican artist delivered on that promise, performing his greatest hits alongside an all-star lineup of guests:

  • Lady Gaga
  • Ricky Martin
  • Cardi B
  • Pedro Pascal
  • Jessica Alba
  • Alix Earle
  • Karol G

As if that weren’t enough, the reggaeton megastar even hosted a real wedding during the show.

The couple had invited Bad Bunny to their wedding

During the performance, a couple appeared before an officiant on stage. While many viewers initially assumed it was staged, reports quickly suggested otherwise.

Just minutes after the show ended, NBC News reporter Rohan Nadkani revealed that sources close to the singer confirmed, “The couple at the halftime show got married for real.”

Bad Bunny’s representative later told Variety that the wedding was indeed authentic. Nadkani’s source explained, “They invited Bad Bunny to the wedding, and in turn, he invited them to get married during his performance.”

Bad Bunny and his guests delivered the best of their repertoire

In the 15-minute set, the Puerto Rican icon performed hits including “Tití Me Pregunta,” “Yo Perreo Sola,” “Party,” “Eoo,” “Mónaco,” “Baile Inolvidable,” and “Nueva Yol.”

Ricky Martin joined him for a snippet of “Lo Que Le Pasó a Hawaii,” while Lady Gaga showcased her vocals with “Die With a Smile.”

Known for pushing boundaries and creating unforgettable moments, Bad Bunny once again made history-delivering a Super Bowl performance unlike any other.
