Angel Di Maria, a former Real Madrid player who currently plays for Rosario Central, has given an interview in which he confesses some of his most personal and intimate secrets.
The former Benfica, Manchester United, Juventus, Madrid and PSG player told ‘Juego Chino’ on ‘Telefe’ that “thanks to the psychologist, who gave me tips that those outside are sticks… Today I see that they insult me and talk too much, I do not care, I know that it is the show that has to sell. Di Maria reveals he almost quit football: “It was all over”
The 37-year-old footballer revealed that in his early days “I wanted to be a goalkeeper” and that he was close to quitting football. His father threatened him that if he did not get promoted to the first team of Rosario Central, he should hang up his boots.

Jorgelina Cardoso, Di Maria’s wife, joined the interview to reveal that in 2009 “the first kiss he gave me in Madame, the first time I saw him… He told me ‘When you’re with me, you’re not going anywhere’ I was 27 and he was 21. He always sent me, although it seems otherwise.”
