The former Dallas Cowboys receiver revealed he had been contacted by Offset just hours before the rapper was injured outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, a detail that has since drawn widespread attention across both sports and entertainment circles.
Offset was taken to hospital following the incident and is reported to be in stable condition. Authorities have yet to confirm the circumstances surrounding the shooting, which remains under investigation.

“I don’t ever talk about what I do or my relationships with anyone but I’m going to give y’all a quick story between me and Offset,” Bryant wrote on social media.
He explained that he had won $8,000 from the rapper in a gambling situation and attempted to collect it, only to find himself in an uncomfortable position.
“I go to tap on him to wake him up… telling him I need that 8K… I can tell his partners wanted to jump on some,” Bryant said, adding that he ultimately decided to walk away because he was “completely outnumbered.”
Rather than escalating the situation, Bryant said he chose to move on. “I charged it to the game,” he added. What followed, however, left a lasting impression.
“I swear to God Offset reached out to me… three hours before he got shot on a money play,” Bryant wrote. “I thought about it and said, ‘I’m good.’ Then I saw the news later… some people don’t play about they money.”
The shooting itself reportedly followed an earlier confrontation involving Lil Tjay, who was detained by police but has not been charged in connection with the shooting.
His attorney, Dawn M. Florio, stated clearly: “Lil Tjay has not been shot, nor has Lil Tjay been charged with any shooting.”
