That 30 yard jaunt not only electrified the opener, it moved Henry past a legend and deeper into the conversation among the all-time greats.
Henry surpasses Jim Brown
The breakaway play came early in the second quarter: Henry took the handoff, delivered a textbook stiff arm to Bills safety Cole Bishop, and sprinted into the end zone.
The score boosted the Ravens to a 10-7 lead and, more importantly, marked Henry’s 107th career rushing touchdown, elevating him into sole possession of sixth place on the NFL’s all-time rushing TD leaderboard. The milestone puts him just a few touchdowns behind icons like Walter Payton and Adrian Peterson.
A statement of longevity
